Jaelee volunteered to be a mouse in Cinderella, she had to practice for a couple of weeks during lunch recess and she brought home some lines to practice.

Greg and I were excited to go to the school and watch her perform. We thought she was in a musical play version of Cinderella, when we got there we had a bit of a surprise.

The Idaho Opera was performing at the school for an assembly and they had asked some of the kids to be extras. The kids had very minor parts in the Opera. Greg’s face during the whole thing had me cracking up. To say that Opera is not our cup of tea is a bit understating it.

It was cute to see Jaelee though, that girl sure loves the lime light. She loved it. Jayse on the other hand said he was so bored the whole time watching it and said it hurt his ears some of the time.
