2 Weeks in AZ

My sister invited the twins to go to her house for a couple weeks. They were so excited about it, literally counting down the days to go. Jayse was a little nervous though because they were going to be flying there by themselves.

On the day they were leaving I took them to the airport, it was really easy to get the forms filled out and their information ready. I got to walk them to the gate and stay with them until they boarded the plane. They had a direct flight and it was only a couple of hours so it wasn’t too bad. I had to stay though until the plan actually took off. I was there with another couple that was sending their boys by themselves to their grandmas. There apparently was a hiccup with some paper work and they couldn’t take off until that was done, we ended up sitting there for 50 minutes. I felt bad for the kids because they were the first to get on the plan and had been sitting on it for over an hour before it took off. Other than that they said it was really easy, Jaelee said she fell asleep for a bit and most of the time they just ate their snacks and watched on their phones.

My sister got a security pass and was able to meet them right as they got off the plane. Of course when they got to her house the first thing they did was swim. That’s pretty much all they wanted to do while there. My sister took a bunch of photos while they were there and kept sending them to me, thanks sis!

They went to the movies, ate out, went shopping, Brandi bought Jaelee her first JoJo bow, played games with their cousin, built forts in the pool with floaties, fought over floaties, survived super heat (Brandi sent me a pic of her car temp on day and it was 122!) and swam. I would say that is one great vacation!

I think it made Brandi & Ryan appreciate their one son. Jaelee and Jayse are at a stage where they are starting to fight with each other more, basically driving everyone crazy! I am so grateful they got to do that though, definitely a memory and summer they wont forget.
