This was the second game of the playoffs. If the team won we’d play in the championship game the next week, if not than our season was done.

The girls had another great game, the half time dance was done well. We did our stunt again.

During the game someone with Optimist came over and told me I’d won the Junior Division Coach of the Year, she took my picture with the girls and said there would be a banquet later on. I think we are the only team in the Junior division but I guess it’s still nice to be recognized. Greg hung my certificate up at home.

Sadly the boys lost their game. It was a tough won, as it should be when you are in the play offs. They’d gone the whole season undefeated, they really are a great team and put in a lot of time so it was hard to see them lose. At the same time it was one of those, Yes! this is all over. It’s a lot of time and work!

Since this would be the last the girls would see each other until next year they did a group hung and one last cheer.
