Labor Day in OR 2020 – Day 8 and 9

On our last full day in OR we went back to the beach and went crabbing. It was pretty windy but at least the sun was shining. We had a great time as usual. We got a lot of crab and the kids got to play in the water and sand.

Every year it’s a tradition for Jaelee and I to go to the lighthouse, eat cupcakes and watch the sunset. This year she spent almost every moment at her cousins so we were running out of time to do it. We went on the last night. It was not a great sunset, in fact it was so cloudy and foggy we couldn’t see the sun at all but we still enjoyed our time together.

The morning we had to leave we took our traditional family photo. We were missing a bunch of family this year. Hopefully we’ll get to see a lot more of them this year!

Took this photo of Schofield by the Dykes on our way out of town. The water looked so still and so reflective it looked beautiful.
