What a crazy season football and cheer was this year. We didn’t know if we would make to have a first game or if we’d have another after that but we made it through the whole season!

The first game Jayse was playing on the starting team so he got to play a lot. It was really nice for him. I think he really found his groove this year. He decided he really loved playing tackle on defense. He really wanted to try and sack the quarterback every time. He did cause a couple fumbles when the quarter back was trying to throw the ball.

It was so weird seeing the kids so big. I remember when we first started football and looking at the oldest kids and thinking they were so big and now my kids is one of those big kids.

It was a bitter sweet season, we had covid making everything different – not having a jamboree and games starting later then ever while they figured out protocals and we also knew it was the last for this team in this league. I was also still coaching cheer and it can be really hard for me to keep the girls engaged and behaving while also trying to watch the game. I missed the days when I just sat there and watched, ha!
