This year for Easter my brother’s came over and Holden’s girlfriend Teaven. I had been busy in the morning and hadn’t showered so when they got here I jumped in the shower and had them fill all the eggs for the egg hunt. Later the kids found out how fun it is for their Uncle’s to fill the eggs. They found trash in some, old nerf darts, candy wrappers and other random stuff they found around them. LOL it made us all laugh as the kids opened those ones.
Every year I’m waiting for the kids to say they don’t want to do the egg hunt anymore but every year so far they still want to….especially Jaelee. My brother’s also helped hide the eggs this year and they definitely made the kids work for some. They had to help them find some of the last few they hid.

After the egg hunt we went in to color eggs. I needed the eggs to be colored and done so I could crack them and make deviled eggs for dinner. We all colored a couple of eggs and then I had Jaelee go over and start cracking them. She cracked the first one and it was raw! Hahahaha oops. I grabbed the wrong carton to color. We colored all raw eggs – which is funny because several were dropped and we even made a comment about oh well they are hard boiled. We pulled the other carton out for Jaelee to crack and put the colored eggs back in the fridge.
After egg coloring we ate dinner – wish I would of got a picture of it. It was sooo good. We had turkey & ham and all the fixin’s yumm yumm.
After stuffing ourselves we went back outside, it was so nice out. Jaelee got out her new rainbow slip and slide while the boys played HORSE. Eventually she also joined HORSE and then we played with bubbles. I asked Jayse to grab this chair we have and ride around on his bike to fill it with air. The string from it ended up getting tangled up in his bike chain. Him and I had to work a bit to get that out. All in all it was a really great day.
