By the 2nd home football game the marching band had learned enough of their performance to do some of it at half time. They have 3 movements and they just did the first one. They didn’t do much of the marching, they did a bit of it and then played the music from the first movement. I didn’t take a lot of pictures because I was taking video.

They didn’t have their uniforms ready for the marching band or color guard and the shoes didn’t come in yet either so they wore school spirit clothes. It was also a Pirate themed night for the student section so some of them had pirate stuff on during pep band.

Band has a lot of traditions and one of those is called paper toweling. It’s where you secretly put a clothes pin on someone. So you see kids sneaking up to other people to put one on. It’s one of the things Jaelee loves about band. You’ll notice clothes pins on their stands and maybe on people in pictures.
