This year we’ve had a theme and that is a roller coaster. Every year has it’s ups and downs but this year has thrown us some doozies. We’ve had some really high highs and some low lows. So I knew this year the theme for our card would be a roller coaster. I wanted to create a card of us on a roller coaster and make it look like a postcard we sent from Wonderland.

To get a picture of us on a roller coaster I needed us to post as if we were on one. I put my green screen up outside with a char and a big fan to blow our hair. It was only 50 degrees out but I wanted it to look like summer, I lucked out that the sun was out. So we all put on t-shirts and each sat in the chair while I got pictures with the wind blowing on us. It was COLD with that fan right in our face so it was a rapid fire of pictures for each and then were were done.

I took my own photos with my camera on the tripod and my phone as the remote.

I just love these faces and so many of the pictures I got while we were doing this. It was hard to decide which ones to actually use for the card. I had several versions where we were all smiling, all screaming or a mix of us screaming or smiling. In the end I had each vote and everyone liked the one of us all screaming. Hopefully most everyone has seen the card by now, if not this is a glimpse at it 😉
