Even though I had just gotten back from a 2 week trip we had another one planned. We wanted to do a family trip and decided a road trip up to Canada and then to my family reunion would fit. The kids schedule is so tight these days between all their activities the only week we could really do it was in July. So 3 days after the 4th of July and only 2 weeks after I got back from Italy we set out.

We left Friday after we got off work. We had planned to drive to Lewiston for the night. It’s about a 5 hour drive. We stopped in McCall for dinner – about 2 hours away. We went to one of our favorite places, Lardos. I forgot how expensive it is and to be honest the service wasn’t great but we had full bellys so that’s good enough.

I used points I had for our hotel in Lewiston. Which was nice because we were there so briefly. We got in pretty late and just went right to bed.

This kids hair drives me crazy when it’s in his eyes!
