I had picked out the tile I wanted for my kitchen backsplash and purchased it a while ago but we hadn’t had time to install it. Greg has a friend named Greg that owns his own remodeling company. He was going to help us because neither Greg or I know how to do tile.

He happened to have a break in jobs and told us he would just come over and do it. I was so grateful. He came over and had it done in 2 days. I love it.

At the same time our backsplash was being done our dishwasher broke for the 3rd time. Greg and I managed to fix it before but this time we couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I didn’t want to spend the money on a new one so I thought we should have an appliance repair guy come out. I did have one come out and it was $125 I could of just flushed down the toilet.

He couldn’t tell me what was wrong with it and in order to figure out more he’d have to charge more because apparently doing further investigation is not covered in the original fee. He suggested it was the motherboard – which Greg and I replaced not too long ago. For him to replace it, it would be $525! That’s almost as much as a new one. So that’s what we decided to do.

Greg and I went shopping for a new one and decided to get a Kitchenaid. So far so good.
