I saw on the reports that there might be another chance to see the Northern Lights. I had to go out and try and see them again. I’m so glad I did.

I went to a field by our house to see if I could see anything. I took a quick picture and could see green and red in it so I knew we’d get to see the Northern Lights. I drove out to the same spot I went to in May (Horseshoe Bend).

I set up one of my cameras for a time lapse. I used the other one to get pictures. Since I had the camera with the time lapse on my tripod it was hard to get pictures with my other camera. I tried to hold my camera still on the edge of my car door. I got a few photos but most of them were pretty blurry.

It was AWESOME! I got 2 good time lapse videos and some great photos. It looks better through the camera but you can definitely see it with your eyes. It’s so exciting. I was out there for hours by myself. I finally decided to head home at 12 because I had to work the next day. I could of stayed out there for 2 more hours though.

Can’t believe a bucket list item of mine has happened twice in my own home state!
