Sara Evans

My friend Jamie and I went to see Sara Evans at a new to us venue. Called Roadhouse at The Mill in Emmett. I gotta say I was super impressed. It’s a big venue that used to be a mill. It’s open but covered. They have places to sit, plenty of bathrooms, food trucks and a really pretty set for the stage.

Sara Evans was great, there were a few bands before her that I really liked too. I think one was local. I didn’t know very many songs but could sing along with Suds in a Bucket.

Jamie and I squished our way up close the stage to dance and sing. While we were there we saw this odd mannequin masked thing. Not sure what that was about but I had to snag a picture of it. It was sitting at a table with a group of people.

I had a nice drunk woman tell me I looked friendly and young for my age. She offered to let me sleep at her house so I could drink with her, ha! I declined and drove the hour back home afterwards.

We had such a good time that afterwards we looked at what other musicians were coming to the venue and booked tickets to see Diamond Rio in August.
