A couple of friends and I went to see Diamond Rio. One of their songs is a favorite of mine – Beautiful Mess. I honestly didn’t know many other songs.

We all met in Emmett in the afternoon and went paddleboarding at Black Canyon. It was so nice. The sun felt so good. We just paddled around having great conversations. When we decided it was time to head back a wind came up and it was so difficult to paddle against it. We were all laughing at ourselves. If you even stopped paddling for a moment the wind would push you back. It was a good work out.

Then we went to dinner at a nice little Italian place. We all ordered a bunch of stuff and shared our flatbreads and appetizers. It was so yummy.

We made it to the concert in time to see the 2 openers, I didn’t know who they were but they were pretty good.

When Diamond Rio came out we went close-ish to the stage. We were on the dance floor but didn’t want to be smushed up front. We had such a good time. Diamond Rio was the first album our friend Sarah ever got. She had one favorite song and that was their opener. I learned I knew a few more of their songs then I thought. I was so excited when they played Beautiful Mess. My friend Sarah and I sang at the top of our lungs. What a fun day. I always have a great time with Jamie & Sarah.

Oh my gosh, we laughed so hard. I was trying to get a picture of us but my hat was too big!
