Every 3 years the Symphonic band goes on a big trip. They went when Jaelee was a freshman and she wasn’t a part of Symphonic band so it came back around again when she was a senior. The band director tries to go to different places each time. This time it was Seattle. The mix in some music and fun. They went to the Seattle Symphony, stopped at a a couple of universities to visit their band programs, went to Pikes Market, Aquarium, Museum of Pop Culture, a ferry ride, a few parks and a fun center.

Jaelee had a lot of fun. She couldn’t believe how big the Seattle Symphony building is compared to ours. The organ was huge! At the fun center her phone was in her back pocket, it got caught one something and ripped her pants. Luckily a mom that was chaperoning sewed the pants for her.

On one of their stops she ran into Kuna’s choir that was in Seattle too. The choir teacher happens to be Jaelee’s old choir teacher from elementary and she knows him and his wife pretty well. Her and a couple of the other kids that know them got a picture together. Such a small world.

Glad she had fun and was able to go and that she took some pictures!

On one of their stops along the way, they stopped at a park and did a photo contest. Jaelee took these photos of her friend Brooklyn, who was also her roommate for the trip.

Jaelee and Mark – he looks so thrilled, LOL. These 2 have been playing in band together since middle school!
