LABOR DAY IN OR 2020 – DAY 2 A Bear!

On day 2 we went out to Greg’s friend Brady’s new place. He is working on building a cabin for his family.

While Greg and Brady were talking I played around with my friends lens again. Taking pictures of flowers and the dog.

That evening Greg, his dad and I went on a mountain drive to try and find a bear in the wild. Which I have been trying to do for 10+ years. We had driven around and saw beautiful scenery but not a single animal let alone a bear. The sun was setting and we pulled off into one last spot. I walked back up the hill a bit to take pictures of the sun setting and the trees. I heard Greg’s dad whistle at me so I looked and he was waving at me to come back down. I jogged down the hill and met him and he showed me a black bear he’d found. I finally saw one! I can’t believe it. Finally saw a bear in the wild. It was a long way away but I got some pictures of it with again that long lens my friend let me borrow. It was so cool. I’m thankful for Steve taking me out there and finally finding a bear for me to see.

On our way out there was an amazing sunset and a big beautiful moon. It was a great ending to the day.
