On the actual 4th of July we decided to just stay home and BBQ with my brothers and Holden’s girlfriend Teaven. It was HOT so we BBQed, ate and then got in the pool. We hung out in there for hours. Playing beer pong, laughing and listening to music.

As the sun started to dip we got out of the pool and got ready to meet Darin and his family to watch fireworks from one of his job sites. It was still under construction and we were able to go out on the roof. It was so COOL. We could see the whole valley and there were fireworks being lit off in all directions. However, Greg and my 2 brothers had drank quit a bit during the day and Teaven and I were a bit annoyed. I was also nervous about them being stumbly on the top of a roof. Luckily we made it up and off with out any incidents.

Jayse did end up leaving his phone on Jess’s bumper though and it fell off somewhere at the job site – luckily it was all locked up but when Darin went back the next day to get it, the phone was gone. We were able to GPS it and found it was in another town. We started calling it and forcing it to ring full volume but nobody would respond. We did end up reporting it stolen but the cops weren’t really able to do much. Bummer! He ended up having to buy a new phone with the money he’d made this summer mowing lawns.

After the fireworks we went back to our house with my brothers where Greg, my brothers, Teaven and Jaelee played corn hole for hours. Finally they got hungry again and ate all the BBQ leftovers and finally they all passed out.

Love that we got to spend so much time over those 2 days with family!

We had some killer sunsets for the 3rd and 4th.

These photos do not do this justice, it was so cool seeing all the fireworks. I only brought my phone so the photos are not great, it was seriously so much better than these show.

These goobers wanted us to drop a drink down to them.
