The day after we put our shed together Jayse and I ended up in the ER. His eye had been bothering him all day and was very red. When we all got home Greg looked at it and saw metal in it. Obviously a piece of metal got in his eye from working on the sheet metal the day before.

We went to the ER and they were not able to do much. They did put this cool stuff in his eye that made it glow. The doctor just told us to follow up with an optometrist the next day. I had to call a few before I found someone to even answer the phone. Luckily, this place got us right in and was exceptional. The doctor was so good. Making me think about switching there for my regular eye exams – she was that good.

She was able to grind out most of the metal but some was too deep. They gave us a steroid to use and hoped the rest would be pushed out, either all the way out or pushed out enough she could grind it some more. Jayse went back in a couple of days later but it was still too far in. His eye felt better though after she did the first grinding. He didn’t even feel anything. Luckily now that we are a few months out it’s all gone. We are very fortunate nothing major happened.
