We bought a metal shed for the property that had to be put together. We wanted something we could store our four wheelers in and cover some of the building materials we’ve purchased for the cabin. Greg and I went up to the property to put it together over a weekend. I didn’t take many photos but I did set my phone up for a time lapse. I’ve sped it up to fit into one minute. This is over 2 days.
I was so tired after the first day, it was a lot of work. Unpacking the thing and setting it up. We had to use some ingenuity to get a portion of it up. We used ladders to brace the top portion on and some log wood pieces to hoist them up into position. I tell you what, if I hadn’t started working out and lifting weights in January I would of been useless. We got all of the shell done on day one. That night we made foil dinners. The are always really good.
The next day was adding the outer metal pieces. It started out as a pain. The directions are not much help and things needed to be a certain size. Everything was in metrics so we had to use a calculator to convert them. We got one whole side on had to take it down and start over. Once we got it figured out though the rest stated going on much simpler. Luckily Jayse showed up to help just as we were getting to the taller pieces. I was not looking forward to being up on the ladder.
We were able to put the whole thing together in 2 days. Even got the 4 wheelers in there before we left.
